Sopor Aeternus & The Ensemble of Shadows
Sopor Aeternus ha sido un proyecto muy interesante y de gran prestigio en la escena oscura, integrado por un ser humano conocido como Anna-Varney Cantodea personaje muy extraño creando una personalidad andrógina oscuro y rodeado de misterio. Este ser misántropo que prefiere esconderce en el anonimato quien se niega actuar para seres humanos quien declara que hace música solo para si mismo. Solo reciviendo ayuda de "the Ensemble of Shadows" los seres quienes lo inspiran a desarrollar su talento desde ya hace varios años. Dejando de lado la muy personal realidad de Anna-Varney. La música de Sopor es muy emocional cargada de melancolía en cada nota , desbordando la tristeza profunda lúgubre y oscura que hace estremecer asta al mas frió ser.
De un talento nato para la música ha sabido evolucionar perfeccionando su estilo , evolucionando en cada disco y experimentando por varias vertientes desde lo fúnebre medieval y renacentista hasta lo electrónico, En su musica podemos encontrar el dominio de varios instrumentos tradicionales como instrumentos de viento (en especial flautas), guitarras, bajos y cuartetos de cuerda, como sintetizadores o cajas de ritmos, del cual hace de ellos sus mejor aliado en su desarroloo musical .
Así desde la cavernoza melancolía, Sopor Aeternus nos brinda un viaje por el sendero de la tristeza personal, invitando a la melancolia a ser parte de ti , esa experiencia que solo cada uno de nosotros puede sufrir o disfrutar, ¿ y por que no'? encontrar una tracendencia atravez de ella.
