UNKLE EN MEXICO

James Lavelle, uno de los músicos más prolíficos de los últimos quince años, es la mente detrás de UNKLE, siempre rodeado de músicos tan importantes como DJ Shadow, con quién formo la agrupación, Tim Goldsworthy y ahora en su sexto disco de estudio Where Did the Night Fall hace una nueva mancuerna con Pablo Clements.
La música de la banda británica ha sido catalogada como trip-hop, pero va mucho más allá, aderezando su música con toques de rock, funk y la más potente y obscura electrónica.
Continuando con la tradición de rodearse de grandes músicos, una de las virtudes de UNKLE es contar con la colaboración de artistas de la talla de Thom Yorke (Radiohead) y Jason Newsted (Metallica) 3D (Massive Attack), Josh Homme (Queens ot the Stone Age o Ian Brown (Stone Roses) en las vocales.
Lo visual es fundamental para entender a UNKLE, desde las portadas de sus discos, hasta el video de la canción Rabbit in your headlights, uno de los mejores videos en la historia de la música, dirigido por Jonathan Glazer. Por tal motivo el show de UNKLE contará con un extraordinario soporte visual que sólo podía tener cabida en un escenario como el Circo Volador, que anteriormente funcionaba como Cine y que ofrece las características para apreciar plenamente el show desde cualquier punto.
Las localidades ya están a la venta a partir del viernes 27 de agosto a las 12 PM y pueden ser adquiridas en los centros Ticketmaster, en la página www.ticketmaster.com.mx o al teléfono 53-25-90-00, así como en las Taquillas del Circo Volador.

Por fin, el 17 de octubre se cumplió y pudimos disfrutar de la presencia de uno de los mas influyentes en su escena, la noche se estremeció una vez mas con el talento único de Johnny Indovina. Todo el lugar fue bañada en una aura que nos condujo por una maravillosa aventura musical; acompañado de su guitarra toco canciones de su nuevo álbum y mas de las ya conocidas, de esta forma tomo las expectativas de todos los presentes y las transformo en pasión melódica, demostrando sin duda alguna esa calidad de interpretación que lo ha caracterizado como el héroe romántico que transita y explora los estados emocionales, desde la algarabía loca de vivir hasta las ganas implacables de morir , representando la persistencia del espíritu romántico.
